Jeanne Betancourt

Jeanne Betancourt studied drawing and painting at the Art Students League, New York Studio School, and The School of Visual Arts in New York City, as well as the Fine Art Works Center in Provincetown, MA, The Lower Eastside Print Shop, and at the studios of Joan Griswold (Great Barrington, MA) and Ophrah Sempesi (New York City).

Jeanne had a solo show of oil paintings at The South Street Gallery, Greenport New York. She has exhibited in group shows at the National Academy of Design and The Art Students League in New York City; the Twentieth Century Gallery in Hudson, New York; at various galleries in Great Barrington and Sheffield, Massachusetts; the Pelar Gallery in Greenport, New York; the Oysterponds Historical Society in Orient, New York; and, at the Manhattan Graphics Center and the Atlantic Gallery in Manhattan.

Jeanne has received awards from The Art Students League and the Sheffield Art League.
