Color and form have been the focus of Greenport artist
Helen Weinstein’s approach to painting. As an interior designer, her trademark has been working with unusual color combinations, which she has applied to her oil paintings. She often layers complementary colors to form a multi-colored and textured background before she paints her subject.
Helen has studied oil painting at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, the TriBeCa studio of Diane Green and The South Florida Art Center with Pablo Contrisciani.
