ALAN BULL – New Works / Greenport Past & Present

Known for his diversified subject matter and use of media, Alan Bull has earned special recognition for his paintings and monotypes. Originally from Old Town, Maine, Alan received his BFA at the Philadelphia College of Art and worked as a portrait artist, theatrical set painter, muralist, and studio assistant to glass artist Dan Dailey before he focused on a career as a painter.
Exhibitions have included shows in New York, London, Boston, and Portland, ME and his work has been featured in Architectural Digest, The Boston Globe and The New York Times. Alan regularly teaches painting and drawing workshops throughout the East End of Long Island and the North Shore of Massachusetts, where he currently resides.
