The South Street Gallery has announced the opening of an exhibit of original paintings by the North Fork critique group ‘Cloud 9.’

Cloud 9 is a unique group of local painters who have been meeting monthly for many years to advise and support each other. Their work reflects the East End’s rich pastoral setting on the water, where the light, clouds and colors are constantly changing.

Artists in the exhibit are:
Adelaide Amend, jada Rowland, Dolores Castrucci, Joan Curran, Fran Reichert, BL Moyle and Ann McCaughey. (Though best known for landscapes, several of the artists also do portraits on commission)

You are cordially invited to the opening reception at The South Street Gallery, 18 South Street, Greenport, on Saturday, November 8th, from 5-7 PM.

A portion of the exhibit proceeds, as well as opening night reception sales throughout the gallery, will go toward the restoration and revitalization of the Waterfront property for community benefit.
