Join Dan Welden, in his own workspace, for this inspirational and instructive workshop.  Learn about this unique printmaking technique while Dan guides you through the creative process.

Dan Welden continues to inspire artists, teachers and students around the world in workshops where he demonstrates
how to create art through various methods of drawing, painting, photography and digital imagery.

Participants will have the opportunity to create at least one 8X10 image and make multiple impressions and time permitting, more!

Dan spent much of his early art career promoting healthier and safer printmaking, which eventually led him to develop the Solarplate technique. This process; though simpler, more spontaneous, and more economical than traditional etching; incorporates a broader range of imagery than any other printmaking medium and includes drawings, photographs, and paintings.
